Dear HarmonySite administrator,
We've now completed the final piece of the online-purchasing system: Donations. There are now four type of things that can be purchased and paid for with your HarmonySite...
1. Membership invoicing
2. Merchandise (CDs, T-shirts, etc)
3. Event tickets - released a few days ago
4. Donations - released today
The donations system allows you to accept donations direct from your HarmonySite. It supports multiple donation "targets" - what the money is to be used for. For example, you may have one "target" which is simply your own organisation/group. Another target may be your favourite charity, or a disaster-relief campaign, etc. Visitors to your site can donate to one of them, or to all of them at once.
A donate box can be added to your sites "sidebar" (the same part of the page as "Search the site", "Join our Mailing List" and the Facebook wall), or in the "footer" (the same part of the page as the "Site Map", "Upcoming Events" and "Contact Us" sections), or on a separate page of its own.
Payment can be accepted via all your standard payment methods, including secure credit card, PayPal, Internet bank transfer or cheque.
